Hey folks has anyone else been on the galaxy zoo site which is part of the zooniverse?

It might sound strange but does it actually do any good in the bigger picture?

Yes, the aim of the project is to harness people power to classify galaxies et al. The 'bigger picture' will be that the information collated is not just for scientific/research purposes, but for the benefit of all mankind. If you're quick, you may even be the first person in history to see each of the galaxies you're asked to classify
