First moon: Schickler and Wargentin??

First image of the moon taken with the CPC 1100 ans SP900NC (can we think of a better name?!)on Thursday night. Thrilled to have my first picture in the bag. Can anyone confirm what i aimlessly pointed at??

That is really good for a first image PB. The almost full moon has very little contrast because the lighting is too flat so that makes imaging quite challenging. Did you do a single frame or use Registax to process a whole AVI of them?

Well done with that, and welcome to the world of imaging.

The posting thumbnail bit comes with iseestars, you should see a link on the bottom somewhere. If you register, you can click to upload an image when posting, put in your details and click upload. It comes back after a couple of seconds with some code which you then copy and paste into your post. The thumbnail bit is then done by magic.

Thanks for your comments on the image CC - I used registax to stack a 100s avi. I simply pasted the http bit from i see stars - should i past the whole thing?
