mars where art tho??

was just wondering if this starchart i have is right , is it correct that mars at the moment is in or near leo?

if not when is it suposed to be around this year?

Doesn't sound right to me. Mars is rising about 3.50am in UK at the moment.

Stellarium will give you acurate info and it free to download Stellarium

Technically speaking it's there in the evenings now but too close to the sun and during 'day light'.

If info is correct its not going to around until Jan 2012 :-(

I think your info may be incorrect, according to Stellarium it is a morning object and should be easily visible by September at about 4am.

in the evening yes, but as ColB says it about on the morning. currently rising about 3am.
