Help again please

My skywatcher 120 refractor says its has "Direct SLR Camera Connection ". Does this mean that all i need is the canon t-ring to attach my 1000d to it?

Unfortunately not - the "direct connecton" is thw 1/4"bsw screw that sticks out of the top of one of the tube rings. The idea being that you screw this into the tripod mounting screw hole of the camera.

What you need is the "t" ring annd adapter (either 1.25" or 2") so that the camera can fit into the focusser tube.

First Light Optics - FLO 1.25-inch T mount camera adapter (a 2" might be better for the 120 refractor)

Sorry, but do i still use the diagonal or direct to the focuser?

You dont use the diagonal just attach to the end of the focuser. iirc the thread on the end of the scope will fit a T-Adapter.

Yes, you just need a T-ring and that will screw onto the thread on the back of the focusser.
