I've got something, and I'm quite pleased with the starfield, but the object itself could clearly do with cooking for much longer:

It's a rather tantilising image, love the star colour and the nebula starting to show nicely. What are the exposure details etc?

Of course, sorry Martin:

Nikon D3 at ISO3200, NR off

x20 dark, bias* and flat frames

x120 120 second subs

* I know I don't need dark and bias, but I'm still learning, so I still capture a few of each every time. That way, when I get chance to sit down and mess about with DSS, etc, I can try each and see what difference they make.
