Suppression pads, any good? Anyone use them??

Yes, I use a set of the Meade ones. I find them pretty effective. They don't stop vibrations but they do ensure that the dampening time for any that are started, say when focusing, is much quicker than normal - about 1/3rd as long so 3 seconds dampening becomes 1 second.

These pads make high power viewing much more practical and I've used heavy scopes, manually driven, at over 300x with the pads in place.
