You know, I think everyone is going to hate me for saying this.. and probably ask where are my comparable pictures.. but I'm not keen on this one.

For me the galaxies cut too quickly into the background leaving the feel that they're pasted on. I think more subtle smoothing into the background would make it feel more natural.

Now I'm going to hide before the men with pitchforks and burning torches arrive!

No, I know just what you mean. If I knew how to deal with this I would do so! It is not that unusual an effect in Triplet images, I reckon. The truth is that the faint background is stretched like mad to get the tidal tail so what more can a poor boy do? Those darned galaxies just pop out of the sky as if they were island universes. Oh...
