Skywatcher 250 Dob owners?

Im thinking about making a Dob base for my Skywatcher 250PX to increase portability, my question to any of you Skywatcher 250 Dob owners out there is what is the distance from the mirror end of the OTA the centre of the pivot bearing? I`ll be using my scope rings with bearings attached and I know I can adjust these to any position along the OTA. My reason for asking is to get a height for the side frames of my box without too much experimenting ;)

Hope someone can help,

L.

Balancing apart, my Skyliner 250 Flextube has the Douglas Adams distance of 42 (cm) from end of tube to pivot, but there is also 17cm clearance under the OTA which is much more than enough to clear the azimuth motor and the rotation of the tube - don't forget about that extra bit of distance.
