Hi all.

In your opinion which is the best collomation tool to use, I've read on SGL about Laser collomaters and even 35mm camera case's and other type's. I just wonderd what the preference is.

Keith - For a Newtonian I use a sight tube, Cheshire and Auto collimator from Catseye. You need all 3 for perfect collimation. I do use a laser for rough alignment but you can't correctly center the secondary with one unless you spot it as well as the primary.

Thanks Guys I have not heard of a collicap, what is it ? I have just had a look on FLO at the Hotech, I don't think my focuser would be accurate enough for this type it's the old rack and pinion type.
