ATT ESSEN

Yesterday I went to the ATT in ESSEN, for those that don't know this is the biggest Asto-event in Europe. Everyone was there including some of the big name supplier such as Baader etc...

Attached you can find some pictures of the event and me standing next to my new telescope and mount.

I wish at least I did find my spiritual home amongst the TAKAHASI's... Some manufacturers brag and boost about being the best while others just quitely get on with being the best in the world!

I'm not that strong so I took the wife with me and she held on to the wallet and CC's.

The mount in the last picture is a 10 Micron mount from Astrosystems Austria, it capable of carrying 150kg.

The telescope is a Plainwave 24" RC, total cost is approx: 50k Euros plus the nice clamshell observatory which must be another 30k Euro...

Its nice to dream about these things!
