jakey
I have used many things in this hobby but I have never used bino viewers. I am somewhat confused if a bino viewer will work on my 14 inch f4.6 scope. Apparently focussing might be an issue.Does anyone know what bino viewers will work on my scope? GazOC
They need an extra peice (OCS?) to achieve focus in most Newts, this also increases the mag of system by x1.6 or so. The binoviewer normally comes with an OCS as an option for a little extra money.I've got a cheap pair and they are great for planets/ moon, apparently the premium binos are equally good at DSOs as well. mike bacanin
second that tom, but the WO and stellarvue are apparently excellent for their price. the denk is probably the best in the world but not cheap!!

GordonCopestake
optical corrector system or something, it moves the focal point of the scope so you can reach focus with the binoviewer. It's basicly a barlow element without the eyepiece holder, and many people do just use a barlow
