new scope and eyepieces

hi all

just had delivered my brand spanking meade ls lightswitch 8 '

had an etx 90 before but became frustrated with the goto so decided to spend more to gain more.

i,ve also ordered a televue nagler 16mm

meade 5000 series 5x telextender

and a televue bandmate 0111

im hoping these will complement the scope as i hope to do a lot of deep sky veiwing planetery and nebula everything really!!!

opinions please.....

Interesting scope !

Can I ask what are you going to use the 5x telextender for - imaging presumably ? - it would deliver too much magnification for visual use.

The Nagler 16 is a lovely sharp eyepiece and the O-III filter will be good for planetary nebulae.
