davehunt
I am awaiting delivery of Bobs Knobs for my 200p Dob.Can anyone tell me if the replacement is a straightforward business?I can see that replacing the adjusters should be OK but what about the retaining screws-can you just take them out one at a time with impunity,or is there a spring likely to fall inside?Do I have to remove the primary to do it?If so,how? All this fuss and expense because of cloudy skies!!!!
ajg
Dead easy - I did mine one at a time, but made sure the OTA was at an angle ... just in case.Just ensure you don't get them crossthreaded.

Luke
Was a doddle on our dob. There were some simple, clear instructions included, it was easier than I thought!Would also recommend to always make sure you have the tube pointing sideways, just in case anything drops and hits the mirror. Demonperformer
I still haven't worked up the courage to get (and fit) a set to my 6SE ...
Moonshane
I've made my own for my scopes. as others say, do one at a time, scope at an angle, recollimate (which is now a lot easier) and you're good to go.
