Seen from my usual location, One Tree Hill in Essex, my first attempt at the ISS..

15s @ 55mm, f/5.6, ISO400

If I've got my bearings right, she was over Eastern France at this point. My mother was amazed at the speed of it. I told her that when the ISS came into view, it was over Portugal/Spain and she couldn't believe me.! When the ISS disappeared, I mentioned that it was over Eastern Germany/Russia. Again: Gob smacked.! :) I think It covered something like 1,200 miles in the 4 minute viewing window.

It's sobering knowing that there are people aboard the ISS every time I look at it. What a view they have.!
