HEQ5 tripods are available via FLO (I recently got one). Alternatively, you could use this as an opportunity to upgrade the tripod to (say) a surveyor with an HEQ5 adaptor or a Berlebach.

I am a tad worried about that scope tripod mount setup you bought. It seems like I has had some abuse in the past and tinkered with. Remember the wires in the polar scope when you were at mine ?

Ah good, just tried the eq6 legs and they dont fit without the adaptor.
