Adding a barlow to my webcam.

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Ive been trying to add a barlow to my webcam arrangement on the Skywatcher Explorer 250pds the past few clear nights and i cannot seem to achieve any focus at all with it. Im assuming that the barlow is extending it to far out of the focusing tube. The results im getting without it are pretty decent, just want to get more mag!

Is there anything i can add to solve it or is it my webcam (in sig)?

Any advice would be muchly appreciated :)

Try unscrewing the barlow lens from it housing and screw the lens into the nose of the Camera adaptor , where you would normal screw a filter... that should bring the camera closer than using the whole Barlow
