trouble using my captured jupiter ser file in registax

thanks Simon just checked and the minimum file size i have is 8gb explains why the moon captures worked ok as they were all less than a 1gb,so you stack with AutoStakkert then use registax? thanks -
can anyone suggest why this ser file wont open correctly in registax its just a blank screen but when i play it in ser player ,it plays fine

another problem im having is when i put the ser file in registax its just a black image but when i play the ser file on its own its just like the video file i captured

hi happy kat,no uv filter but using an adc which doesnt seem to do much

Hi just tried the following combi,dont know if it was poor seeing last night(although it looked clear) or is this not a good combi,trying with jupiter and na adc in line ,moon was up as well here in the uk,any thoughts thanks,also does the adc effect viewing stars

hi all,just collimated my c8 edge with the HoTech Advanced CT Laser Collimator ,just wondered if anyone that uses one could give me feedback on my results,everything looks ok apart from the bottom laser which is slightly off centre,the secondary was ok as well thanks

hi followed a you tube video to get this image but when i go to levels to add some colour it just says grey and no rgb available ,here is the screen shot if that helps,i know the image isnt brilliant but im happier than i was a few months ago in the direction im going thanks to you guys.

well just tried my 414ex ,is it my eyes but does this look better although im now getting what i think are newtonian rings

thanks bought new but ive been told it is oversampled by a lot so may need a ccd with a larger pixel um??

hi just using a quark on a 100mm quad stepped down to about 72mm with a erf filter,using a electronic focuser so i can use small steps for focusing,image taken with a screen grab ,used both an asi 178mc and asi462mc camera,think i should be getting something better any advice really appreciated thanks also tried adjusting quark with the knob on the quark

Hi do i still need a uv/ir filter if i use a erf filter on the front of my quad 100mm stepped down to 75mm thanks
