Hawksmoor

Had a wonderful auroral display over Oulton Broad after midnight tonight. Sky very red to the naked eye in almost every direction. Saw rays and an auroral curtain. Best Aurora we have ever seen from our coastal home in Suffolk. Have some images to process tomorrow and for once I will be using software to decrease the colour saturation. Who would have ever thought that I would be saying such a thing?

Whilst we were out we managed to see three bright meteors. Just need to catch the comet now and then I will be a happy old bloke!
