  11. hi and welcome to sgl
  12. i cant advise on a telescope but as far as storage goes in a damp shed or garage, you could build a good size box with door on it , insulate it well and jobs done. if u have the room make it big enough for the scope and tripod already set up. even a shelf for your astro gear, even set all on a trolley wheel it in and out. all depends on the room you have available. if money is tight , go to nearest place theyre building houses and recycle whats in the skips. insulation included. hope this helps.
  13. a lot of food for thought here. if i upgrade id be looking high, med and low power e/ps. thanks to everyone for the advice. much appreciated.
  14. i find the bst great value and decent e/ps. i have never tried any filters nor get a chance to look through other scopes or eyepieces because of the current situation. i also am in bortle 6 skies. so maybe these are factors also.
  15. looking for if possable a clearer image, more detail, maybe contrast is the right word for it. also maybe a larger field of view without going into 2 inch eyepieces.
  16. ive been using a sw 200p f5 on a dob mount for about a year now. i have been observing with bst starguider eyepieces. can anyone advise on what i could move onto regards an upgrade in eyepieces. i dont wear glasses for viewing. i was thinking about possably baader morpueus. but would really appreciate advise from you guys at sgl. thanks for your help, time and knowledge paul.
