Nah, I think I've got all focal lengths covered with what I have Shame they don't do a 7mm though...
Don't try the 7mm DeLite..

There's a new(at least to me) 80mm F/6.25 FPL-53 doublet at FLO. Looks very ideal for grab and go wide field. All other 80mm F/6 are triplets.
4.8° field at 16× with the 31mm Nagler. Or 4.6° field at 18× with the 28mm UWA.

You really need to verify which issue you're seeing. If you're truly seeing field curvature, you can focus it out by refocusing for the edge. If you're simply seeing field distortion as others above describe, it is not called field curvature. Calling it that simply misguides us in trying help you out.
If you are truly seeing field curvature, a TSFLAT2 used ahead the diagonal can generally flatten the field. I use them on both my 72ED and 90mm APO refractors to good effect with my wide field eyepieces.
What diagonal are you using with the FF Louis?

It's been around several years. Just look for reports on the William Optics UWAN 28mm.
Agreed . Except that the reader has to ignore the comments on the eyecup problems.

Mark,

How about waiting for a few reports?
This is the TS version of the same eyepiece.
But maaaaybe a bit close in FOV to the 20mm 100°.

I also owner wider FOV ep as well, so can treat myself depending upon the mood and objects observed.
What 😱? I thought you were ownest 😀.

I'm sure the NP 101 would be his best bet.

Detailed reports are always a pleasure to read. Thanks! Clear skies ..

Uhm do you think it will be visible in a 8"? I guess if it is visible in 10" ... I may juuuust able to spot it with perfect seeing and enough magnification. I will try once I get clear skies with excellent seeing. But don't hold your breath because I'm not sure which decade that would happen from now.

Last night while observing Uranus I saw its moon Ariel for the first time. Jumping for joy! At a magnitude of 14.2 it is the faintest object I've seen so far 😃
Hi Epick , what magnifications you used to see it? Excellent observation!!

Hi Voyager 3 and thanks for the tip. I just tried it but still nothing. Are you using SS Pro? I'm using Plus
Yes , I'm using Pro but I'm quite sure the plus database will have this asteroid ..
One mistake in searching that I commonly do is typing the first word after leaving a space unknowingly. The search just doesn't accept the space for some reason. Maybe you did the same too?

The 31mm Nagler in the Genesis is THE widefield setup .
Are you sure the Genesis is F/5.4 ? If I remember correctly , I think it is F/5 ..

Outstanding session with a great variety of targets !

This is a calculator recommended by @Don Pensack , though it still is variable depending on few other factors .

Just finished a good session with Zeta Cancri / Tegmine. A challenging but rewarding triple star with a 100mm aperture.
The seeing seems to have become highly variable though - fine for a few seconds then all blurry then fine again. Don't know whats going on up there
Were you able to split the tougher AB pair John ? This pair is riiiiight at the Dawes limit for a 4" scope but is relatively bright with only a little ∆mag . Perfect choice for your 4" refractor .

Agreed . Don't make NASA come over there .😁

Amazing to read about everyone's experiences this evening - it's only a shame Berlin is cloudy so I can't join in 🙂 to be fair my last session was boxing day so not that long ago (report was too long for this thread so have posted separately). Really glad so many in the UK are getting clear skies for a change!
Me too ! Waiting for clear skies in Bangalore since 3 weeks .. At least our fellow observers got clear skies and ecstatic to read those terrific reports !
