  1. Thanks, but without the plugin I can not user change their sizes ? ( EDIT#2later : no worries I find that I can easily switch between the two, 18 and 21, side-by-side in my linux box, which frees up the windowsPC which was the original intention of my update ) Also, the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts button is not available in 0.21.0. EDIT#1 Yes it is, FOUND moved to bottom of the help window !
  2. Thanks for looking. That page covers it up to 0.18.0, then (future)1.0.0 but no mention of 0.19, 0.20 & 0.21. Also to enable a plug in it first needs to be selected from the list of plugins, but it is not showing in my list I have since found the archive of past versions and there are AppImages going back through to 18. so I'll have a hunt to see if any of them contain both the Simbad lookup feature (which is real nice in 0.21) and this elusive FoV plugin. PS found a workround, modify the telrad circles to give me a diameter =my vert. field of view and hope the horiz. of the screen isnt too far off !
  3. I have just installed v0.21.0 in Linux Mint via Appimage, on a laptop with live USB, and cannot find my fav. "field of view" plugin that I have been used to using in my (Windows desktop) v0.18.0 Anyone know :- has it been moved to a new menu somewhere or is it nolonger available ? I was using it via F9 secondary hotkey to set a custom field for my camera+50mm lens.
  4. Hi, here is my new little baby scope a Heritage 150p. It was a long wait ! I had hoped it would come with just little baby clouds, instead 8/8 with howling gale and lashing rain This is only partly unboxed, further on in I am puzzled that the locking screws adjacent to the collimation screws are loose,, not nipped up , some reading up on collimation may be needed !
  5. Thank you ! Nice find, nice software. And me too ! I have just done my own first plate solve Just starting out with a Canon DSLR body on a tripod with an old (film slr) 50mm lens. Trying to get used to what I can see in the small camera screen was difficult and having to bring the card indoors to upload to Astrometry to solve was taking quite a time. Now I can do it locally, thanks.👍 I got a bit confused with my pixels, and my focal length turned out to be not quite 50mm. But all was good in the end when I used the "Go to Astrometry"setup method with a frame I knew that Nova had solved good last week.
