Still struggling with colour and 'brightness' on the video.
Using the excellent Allskeye software to capture png files at 30 sec intervals with 20 second pause.
Could do with raising the box higher to see over the ridge! Or ask the farmer to nicely remove it!!!!

Have a browse around and see what other users of that 'scope are using. If not the exact scope then at least something of the same size/F.

Nice and sharp for a one shot.
Poetic capture of the 'plane and its contrail....

Too breezy here! Maybe we should blame that A/R

Something faint.
The surface of the sun looks like a mixture of white light and CaK in texture and detailing.

Whilst making changes to my mount/cabling, I took an opportunity to look at what I had on my mount PC (beelink mini running windows).
I decided to take the plunge, this morning, and upgrade the OS to Windows 11, from W10 Pro.
So far the following appear to work, though a couple are reluctant to close down.
Sharpcap
Lunt Solar Controller
Lakeside Focuser
Pegasus Ultimate BoxcDc starts to open, then freezes trying to start skychart.exe.
That's as far as I've got so far - the upgrade took a few cycles of download/install before it finally completed. It looks different to 10 - cleaner perhaps, though this particular PC has a limited astro use.
Not used in the wild, as yet, it'll be a while before I get myself sorted ( one part still to arrive ) -
Ah! I'm with you. You have a 135mm lens on a camera. In that case, no the mini won't, sensibly, fit. Ideally something longer would be better. I have a 400mm with 2x extender and still have plenty of space on the sensor. Given the price of long focal lenses, a telescope would be less expensive, and you already have the mini

"The ASI120 mini-camera offers you very good performance for planetary imaging" - highlight quote from ZWO website.
I'm a bit confused by your telescope - but what you use for DSO will work equally well for Lunar/Solar System. Just faster imaging

Who put the sun in that gull image

Bias not really needed and mono is sometimes good for the Sun. After all it is White.

Hi Vin. Cracking images.
What 'scope and camera, if I may ask?

More like non stop all summer, given the very few occasions I've managed to do anything this past season.....
Smashingly good Chris - like the prom in the southwest corner.

Didn't see it by eye, but then it seems as we age it gets harder.

I'm lucky in some ways that the north doesn't really have any major light pollution. I have a 'lid' on top of the post that mitigates when the moon is out; and, to the south, I have Aberdeen!

Happy someone saw something 🙂 , it was clear here for about 4 hours up until approximately 1am, but I'm just too far south ...
Heather
Folk reported seeing it as far south as yourself. Do you use the Glendale app?

It was classed as fairly minor. Now I just need to improve the quality, or probably get a better camera - this 120 has been the bane of my sky watching for too long!

ZWO 120MC
Software : AllSkeye .
Excuse the poor quality, I'm struggling with noise on the camera (using dark frame), even at 15 second exposure and gain of 10.
My vertical allsky capture was better quality (178MC) but aurora just on the edge.

suggests you should have an almost full sun on the camera.

Tablets adds unecessary spacings !
It's said to be a rare event to see the lights in the UK with naked eye, especially for us oldies - last time we saw them with the eye was in 2000. Besides this slice from the night's images starts after midnight - slumberland for me
Glendale app suggests camera sightings only...
