A dream location, jealousy overload! 

Welcome! binoculars are a great way to start off the hobby, many of us have started off with bino’s. Bino’s offer noce wide field views which encourage learning the constellations.

What baffles me to no end is the fact that this is literally being reinvented some 60 years later.

Looks like you knocked off a good chunk of Messier objects in one night! amazing experience when the sky allows for such sessions.

The SM125 is solid on the AVX. The stiff breeze didn't have a noticeable effect.

This scope with the red accents looks smashing.
