Lucky escape, I also use a wedge these days, I also melted the inside of an eyepiece cap in a fraction of a second.

We have a C14 and a CGE at our school obsy and I'm trying to persuade the powers to be to allow me to use the scope independently, since I'm in sixth form.
Especially considering the FPTA spent £25,000 for it and it never gets used at all.

Looks excellent to me, great to see the old SPC900 still delivering a sharp image! I can remember when these were changing hands for £100+ for a while 🙂
