Is this the Autotracking mount or the AZ-GOTO mount ? The goto mount has three tracking rates, solar, sidereal ang lunar. You need to select the lunar tracking rate to follow the moon. ps. t is better to ask questions in the main forum Beginners Help and advice section, as you will get more answers. Peter

You will get more replies if you post this in the Beginners help and Advice section. you should also include the type of telescope and filter you are using. Remember never look at the Sun without using a solar filter and never use a solar eyepiece filter. These filters become fragile when hot and can easily crack allowing unfiltered light directly into your eye causing permanent damage. Peter

Skywatcher, Orion US and Celestron all use the same type of finder dovetail, the telescopes are all made by Synta. You should ask your questions in the main body of the forum to get more replies. Peter

The Skynax Pro MCT focuses by moving the primary mirror so replacing the existing focuser may be difficult. Some MCT and SCT have aftermarket replacement dual speed focuser knobs but I don't think the Pro180 has that option. You can fit a dual speed crayford focuser for about £120. Most telescopes are fairly similar in their operation. A lot of different brands come out of the factory so the manuals will be much the same. If you take a look at the Optical Vision wesite you might find a similar telescope there.
