      100% cloud here, but im going to setup anyway,cos you never know there might be a gap,i only need a few secs to get a pic. hope its clear for you.charl.

    Windy, and not far off a full moon, but got a good view of Uranus just north of the moon through my 120mm ‘frac and 5mm EP. Nice to see a planet again! :)

      I spent the better half of 2018 imaging Mars (and its dust storms). I'm warming up to my ASI224MC as I have been using the very capable Orion 5MP Solar System camera for planetary work. I'm gearing up for a better apparition in 2020, too!

    Woke up early at 3:30am. Got the scope out and managed to bag a few galaxies, globs, planetaries, and of course Jupiter, Mars and wonderful Saturn again! :)

      Thanks Guys. Was nice to have some observing time again. Only downside was the glare of the moon, but hey I'll take what I can when the chance permits! :)

    Woohoo! Going to watch the 40th anniversary filming of Close Encounters of the third kind tomorrow night at the movies! Classic movie! Can't wait! ???

    Yeah! Managed to bag Vesta tonight. Was easier than I thought to spot with the surrounding stars and was the brightest in the EP too, so well chuffed! :):):)

      Thanks Reggie. Was hoping that I may just catch it with the camera, and in the end it popped out quite easily once I zoomed out for a wider field of view with the camera and a shorter exposure time of 6 seconds. :)

    Yet more damn clouds! When's that Zarkov cloud buster gun going to arrive from FLO? Sheesh! I ordered it 10 days ago! Need to blast those pesky clouds away! ;)
