    Finally a couple of good nights :hello2:

    - no moon - tick
    - no clouds - tick
    - no smoke from hazard reduction fires - tick
    - low humidity - tick
    - light breeze - tick
    - good seeing - tick
    - no guiding gremlins - tick

    Initial imaging results look promising from the couple of short sessions I managed on NGC253 ( Sculptor Galaxy ) and NGC6744

      I am particulaly pleased with how the Sculptor Galaxy subs look ...

      This is an in-camera JPEG ( half size ) of one of the better subs  ( 240s ISO800 );
      Light pollution is not too bad and it looks like there might be some nice detail in the dark dust lanes ...  

      Hopefully I will get a chance to process them this weekend :)
