Sorry I can’t be of much help with that. Might be worthwhile getting in touch with a local astro club - I know that Dunfermline Astronomical Society exists, but only thanks to the wonder(?) of Google. There are others in the general Fife area, I believe. Best of luck.

Ach! Rogue thumb! Sorry. Pretty cloudy here but took a chance getting scope out and was rewarded! Definitely the biggest of this cycle, I think. Mrs Floater was a bit underwhelmed at first until I explained the size and she repeated what everyone here is saying: ‘Wow!’ A result!! 😎
