  1. Hi Steve, brilliant, this does seem like a brilliant place to start. Many thanks
  2. Hi Philip, I have an EQ5 PRO, not the best mount in the work I know, luckily, not finderscope, I use a green laser. Oh and I have been torn between the Canon 1100D, 450D or a Celestron NexImage CCD. Not really sure which to use as the 1100D has video but records in MOV.
  3. Hi Steve, great images and if I can get a few like that, well that will do me until I can get a solar scope
  4. Hi Ronin, here is the scope I have http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p3881_TS-80-480mm-F-6-APO---FPL-53-Triplet-Objektiv---Kein-Farbfehler.html Thanks for your reply
  5. I have an ED80 APO Triplet and I have just ordered Baadar Film. What kind of results can I expect from my set up please, also will the images be in colour at all? Many thanks in advance Steve
  6. Many thanks knobby, I will take a look now. Steve
  7. Clear sky, no clouds, no Moon, but so tired from last nights outing with the scope. So wish I had a pier.

  8. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has come across a reasonably good camera APP to take astro photos, not through the EP of a scope, but an APP that has a high enough ISO and where the exposure settings can be changed please? Many thanks and Clear Skies
  9. Hi all. I have desperately been trying to organise a monthly meet in the mountains of Herefordshire near HR2 0LA, not the exact location, but there abouts. There is a village hall that I can hire and if enough people join up, even catering will be provided. The skies in this area are truly amazing with the Milky way and M31 sticking out like a sore thumb on clear moonless nights. It is a real shame that this location is not being used more than it is as I am sure that I am the only one within quite a radius that is taking advantage of thse perfect, clear skies. If anyone is interested, please get in touch as it has been something I have been trying to get off the ground for quite some time, the website is up and running, but as I am a new member bere, I am unsure if I am able to mention the web address as I do not wish to get suspended from the forum as I long to ttend your events in the future. If you are local and like the sound of my proposal, please get in touch as I woul dlove to chat more to you about my plans. Many thanks
