NGC7000 North America Nebula - QHY294m First light
Astro_Gaz replied to Astro_Gaz's topic in Imaging - Deep Sky
I was torn between both but went down the QHY route as it was a lot cheaper, and I’ve upgraded from a QHY9M so I kinda trust them -
Recently purchased QHY294m and the QHYCFW3L 7x2" This image is 2 hours 20 mins in Ha 1x1 - 11mp mode had slight issues with guiding on the night but being wide-field ive just about got away with it ha ha I've upgraded from the QHY9m, and I'm extremely impressed with this camera
-
All setup and tweaking done the image is just 1 single 30 minute frame in Ha with no editing just stretched to show detail, im looking forward to some clear nights please

Concrete has gone down today, now I have a week to wait before I can put the obsy back up, I do however need to replace the supports for the roof for when it’s open

Hardcore went down today with special help from my wife, who did the levelling and helped with transportation

Yes mate ha ha, it’s the only shot I had without popping outside

Work has started at the bortle 4.5 location I have moved to, this time I’m doing the concrete base myself, I will be damp proofing so the wooden base from the original build can be removed. also included a photo of my new horizon

Well obsy will be moving to a new home next week as I m moving house, positives is that garden backs onto fields and it’s a small village 🙌 the story continues......
