I wondered why my 8mm was dim, but good on M57. Eventually I realised; neb. filter still on.

Nearly didn't go out last night; glad I did, the moon was wonderful

Scuttled out for 45mins - saw 5 planets. Not well, but still, 5!

Managed a quick gander at Jupiter, X Cancri and Tegmine before fog stopped play...

Completed the Messier Catalog last night with a very faint view of M83

Darn it, a clear night and I had friends visiting. The 250px still awaits a first proper outing.

I saw the ISS nearly run into the moon.

Last night I finally fitted the Rigel, and got my finderscope to align through the judicious use of gaffer tape as a shim on the shoe.

Clear sky at dusk, "Nova" I thought. "Nope" said the clouds...

I've decided to call last night "Night of the Teapot". First good look at Sagittarius.
