Very Nice Trevor. Looks spot on. Lovely velvety tones. And sharp too. A great combination.
Thanks Neil. I always value your opinion. I feel like I’m getting somewhere now 👍

Now you got a flow for it. Those few times will be not so few. But probably quite a lot. You must be eager to get on a high moon soon. Just keep doing what your doing. And it will all fall into place
Thanks Neil. Certainly looking forward to the next lunation with a high moon. Lets all hope the weather plays ball again !! Trevor

Wow! Really great stuff Trevor!
Thanks Mike. The first real chance to try out the C9.25. At least I know the scope can do it in the future and lesser quality is me or the seeing or both !!

The Mak180 "Planet killer" is killing the Moon as well, great looking images.
Thanks Pete. If the conditions are right is does seem a capable bit of kit. Trevor

They look good Trevor! At F15 you are very oversampled, but the images are still pretty smooth - expecially the third one and the last with Clavius. Maybe consider trying the Mak and 178 using a reducer.... bring it in closer to matching potential of camera and scope.
Got your note!! Very tardy I know in my replies..... its coming. lol

Thanks Mike. I will give the reducer a go and see what happens. Appreciate the help. Trevor 👍

That’s a very good shot Martyn. You’ve beaten me to a mineral moon. Well done 👍

Lots of detail there Neil. Like Martyn, I have never tried a colour shot of the moon but it’s definitely one for the future 👍

Some excellent close up detail Trevor in this image.
Thanks for the comment Martyn. Imaging often doesn’t work out how I intend but it’s nice the few times it does 😁

Another excellent result
Thanks very much Neil. It’s the first time I’ve had very good seeing with the C9.25 since I brought it. It does make all the difference 👍

Nice images Pete. The Gassendi one is full of detail. I’m still struggling with when to use a Barlow. The seeing seems to vary so much in a short time.

Its a great capture. You did well Trevor. Its all in the data captured. And certainly the best data i have seen from you. You should be pleased. Those C9.25s are great scopes too. i would put it on par with my Orion 245mm which is no slouch. But its the person behind the scope that gets the data. Once again well done.
Martyn. I think you know a thing or two yourself. Your early Saturns impressed the hell out of me. Jupiter will be back soon.
Thanks Neil. Again, really appreciate the help and advice. Trevor

You should be happy with it Trevor. There is some good close up detail in this image . Can I ask what filter you are using IRpass/Red/Green?. I will certainly second what you say about NP Is images speak for themselves.
Thanks Martyn. I used an IR685 filter. It certainly improves the seeing. Trevor

Very nice! A favourite area of mine.
Thanks Michael, I have loads of pictures of this area and always seem to go back to it.

Taken a few nights back during some good seeing. I used a 178mono at prime focus on a C9.25. I've over exposed a couple of bits but its more detail than I've ever achieved in this area so I'm happy.
My complete thanks to Neil P for his advice and guidance during processing. I've used various programs in the past but had little understanding of what I was doing. He certainly has a wealth of knowledge and experience but anyone would be aware of that if they have looked closely at the images he submits.
All I have to do is remember what I did this time during processing and that will be a challenge in itself !!!!!
