Why did my bank have to give me a contactless card? Do they not know how unsecure they are... not to worry though, I've lined some foil in my wallet which should block the radio signals :).
Aside from lining your wallet in aluminium foil, or leaving the card at home, I don't think there are. Apparently every so often it will ask for your pin, but not every time - which is more worrying!
