I had the full set of BST'S when I had my 200p great eyepieces for the money the 15mm is my goto eyepiece now.
I have 2 refractors now and have kept the 25mm 15mm and 8mm sold the others I bought a 11mm and a 20mm televue plossl second hand.
Get the best for your money the BST'S are a vast improvement over the stock eyepieces.

Get a good star chart like Turn left at Orion and learn the constellations which ones are up which ones follow each other in the sky.
Plan your viewing write targets down,
Dont be disappointed if you don't see what you see in books you won't.
unless you have dark skies there are only a few galaxies you can see, look for clusters much easier to see and look for the real deep sky stuff until you are at a dark sky place.

Use the flat part of the trunking then make a jubilee clip around the inside.
Dont rotate the OTA until you have aligned it then just rotate to get perfect eye position.
I did this with the 200p I had worked brilliantly.

It's a 200pds but had to make the filter 6" as single a4 film didn't cover the opening and i didn't want to fork out another 20 quid for an extra sheet...
Have you considered one of these just fit like the front cover I had one for my 150p when I took pictures of the transit last time.

Congratulations to those who bagged this.
The only Transit I saw today had a tyre at each corner.
Full cloud out with spots of rain here. I feel vindicated in not having bought a solar filter. Maybe now wait for that until the Sun comes out of this long, bleak minimum.
I bought Baader film and made a filter just for today.

Captain magenta I totally agree my first laser would not collimate what so ever tried for days just would not stay anywhere near Central ended up chucking it in bin not before fine the 3 grub screws were all different lengths.
Bought a second that was out but that was easy collimate.
Like you said they should be tested before they put the silicone in the holes by the manufacturer.
