      Will agree that if the first then start cheap, my first scope was my cheapest - after 4 it is still the one I use most. All the others are better and bigger. There may be a lesson there.

      yeah have seen that which is what has had me wondering.at the moment for me the only reason to go for the pyrex blank is its thickness will provide less flex when grinding
