Friday 27th Nov 8.55am - great prominence on the disk now

Looking at GONG there's a really good prominence on view if you have clear skies.   Potentially a lift - off event.

Good news and bad news for me Micheel.  The Sun is out with lovely blue sky for at least a few minutes, but alas I'm minding a friends camera shop for today and tomorrow and haven't got anyhing to look at it with or take a snap    The largest prom looks as if it might indeed lift off at some point (via GONG) so I'm hoping someone will post some images of it later.

Had a good look at it first thing this morning from home with a PST. Great prominence indeed!

Ha ha, now you're rubbing it in Peter.  It' s 1pm here at the camera shop and still mostily clear!  It looks fantastic at the moment on GONG, and the other two proms are really good too.  I hope it's still clear with you up at TAC Peter and you are getting some good views.
