I've never seen one in the flesh, but I think that the photo is misleading and the guy is standing a little way in front of the scope!  Otherwise our Ascot seller has a really big shed with massive windows and huge planks of lapped wood.  And a enormous ladder.  Perhaps he is a giant?

Impressive bit of kit whatever but how many of us amateurs would be able to put it somewhere where it's of practical use?
