The Moon with a firework

Hello so tonight it was way too cloudy to look at much of anything. Even the moon looked a bit hazy and lacked much detail. Was able to take a look at a few stars and the moon. As I was getting to pack it up I decided to get what I could out of the moon through my iPhone. As I was trying to get the moon in the shot well I saw something go across the moon. Looked like a rocket... unfortunately was not fast enough to catch the actual missile itself but did get its trail a second after it crossed the moon.

Is it possible it was an aeroplane? At magnification, these appear to move like greased lightning (which, of course, they do). It looks a bit like a jet exhaust too.

It looked alot like the head of a rocket although I can't be sure as it crossed my view quite quickly.

Cool shot whatever it was. It looks like a dirty great tyre track across the moon.

Nah I was thinking it was the aliens carrying president Kennedy to the secret moon base. But that seems a little more realistic
