Can you turn a SPC900 in to a guide cam ??

I was told it was possible to pulse guide with EQ mod but is there anyway of connecting it directly to the ST4 port on the handset ?? I came across something saying it is possible with other cams that don't have ST4 ports.

How do you set guide stars just using the handset or do you have to connect to a PC either way.

you'd need an adapter like this: ( hope I grabbed the right one on my phone)

And yes you'd still need a pc to do the calculations.

Tried it once before and failed miserably but will soon have a SPC880 surplus to requirements so figured I might as well see if I could put it to some use.
