Pier brake discs.

I am planning a garden pier and quite like the idea of using brake discs. Can anyone tell me which car disc has a 60mm hole to fit the EQ5. I'll get my local mechanic to hang on to any he comes across of a suitable size.

I used nissan micra ones. cant remember the year off hand but they were perfect and when i swapped to the neq6 i only needed to file the bore a tad and re drill the N peg

How do you make a pier out of brake discs?

Yesterday I went down to my local mechanic and rummaged through his scrap bin and found a pair. Pretty sure it was a Toyota, not sure of model but perfect fit with 60mm hole. They're not refurbished and only go as scrap.

There's been a couple of threads about using brake discs, if I can find them I'll post links.

I'll post blow by blow details when I get started. It will be a no cost, or very low cost project so could be a bit "Heath Robinson"!!
