Hi, I hope this is in the right section, (still finding my way around here  ), can anyone recommend some literature for a beginner, (I've just ordered Turn Left At Orion), and especially star maps so I can figure out what I'm looking at.........thanks in advance

I use a Planisphere, Turn Left at Orion, and Sky and Telescope Pocket Sky Atlas. Along with Stellarium I find this is all I need at my level of experience.
