Sealing my Baader Steeltrack

Not by any stretch a big job, but one that since owning this scope for several months I have not until now got round to doing. The baader steeltrack focuser was not contoured flush onto the tube, this created a gap allowing light (and perhaps dust) in through the draw tube. Not really been too much of an issue, as I use the scope usually where there is no stray light. However after flocking the upper section I felt like it needed to be sealed up as light was still getting inside.

I used an appropriate weather proof and flexible black sealant for the task.

Here are a couple of pictures before and after.

The scope was second hand with this focuser installed, has anyone replacing their stock focuser done similar or applied another method?
