I've made this 'adapter' out of some plastic which fits into my finder/guide scope with allows the use of the webcam fitting,it slides in and out nicely.

Also made this bracket to fit my scope onto as I didn't want the scope right at the end as there's enough weight up there to begin with

Cheers,I used whats called 'Nylon 66' but any plastic should do
