I was watching the moon some time ago, and was just looking at the detail my 10" could show, and I began to notice every so often on one crater it would get fuzzy, then clear, then fuzzy, then clear, it didn't do this on any other crater, was it a cloud? even though it wasn't cloudy at the time? If so why just the one crater and none around it or on the rest of the moon?

Sounds like fluctuating seeing conditions to me or a slight residue of heat in your optics.

Awesome I'd heard about these from the history channels the universe. I'd been wanting to see one. It did eventually quit. Maybe lasted 5 minutes tops.
