Daylight Iridium flare

I'd checked Heavens Above earlier and it showed IR-76 as the only flaring this evening (18:53:45). I made sure that my camera had decent charge and collected my tripod from the cabin, ready to scoot upto the helideck at 18:40 ish. I hadn't realised that this was going to be a daylight flaring, so when I did go outside and see how light it still was, I had serious doubts as to whether this was going to be worthwhile.

As the light continued to fade i kept resetting the camera to gain the best exposure I could. With what I though was plenty of time left (a good 10 seconds, watch set on HA) I happened to see the flare begin, so hit the shutter release and hoped.

Considering how light it still was, the flare was very bright (Mag. -4) and unmistakable:
