06-04-11, Moon with Earthshine

I had a stab at the dark side of last night's moon. The Terminator had only just passed, as I shot an image 30 seconds previous and the sky was slightly brighter..

1x 2.5 second exposure, 200mm @ f/5.6, ISO 200. Cropped during post-editing.

That is really nice! I was out tonight trying to get some shots through my 20x80's but failed miserably. Thanks for posting up your exposure times / f ratio's etc...if it is clear tomorrow I will try again!

Thank's guys. It's not the best attempt ever seen, but it'll improve.

I'd suggest using my details as a guideline. Try those setting's and see what works for you.
