M57 from 06-04-2011

Hello all.

Managed to get the roof off last night as it was a decent sky.

I had another go at the Ring nebula, and i`m quite pleased with the result.

Image made up from 10x150 seconds lights and 10 Darks of the same with DSS and a little processing in GIMP.

Took using the C80ED with the 350D.

First image is from last night and i have included a crop of the ring itself at the bottom.

The second image is from last year just to compare. That was taken using the 200P

I prefer the one taken last night myself.

Hi.

A nice image,although the ring looks a little lost in such a wide view.Tracking and Focus,really good.It just shows how good these cameras are for wide field imaging.
