What size lense with a Barlow would be best for viewing Saturn saw it last night using 25mm first time

Your scope is 1500 mm focal length (as is my dob). I had very nice results on saturn at 8mm (187.5x magnification) - best I've ever seen it.

Anything up to a 5mm good quality ep would be great in good seeing. Something like a Radian or Hyperion will give a smashing view

Personally I just use a 2 x barlow with my 9mm eyepiece.

But the 25mm kit plossl is fine especially for alignment.

I can go down to 6mm or 4mm but you really start to struggle.

9mm is comfortable.

I'll soon be purchasing a 12.5 ortho eyepiece and will be interested to see how this performs.
