First light with my new SW ED80 PRO

Attached are three swift images with my new toy! All are 2min subs unguided. HEQ5 and Canon 1000D, all with around 20 each flats and darks. M44 (50min total) and M51 (2h 8min) are full frame, M42 (28mins) cropped a bit. M42 was dropping below the obsy wall in poor seeing/house haze!

Nice . Very interesting - I've yet to really try out imaging with my new SW ED80 . Were you using your camera together with a focal reducer, or did you use a T-mount?

Thanks all. Black Knight, this was just the "basic" scope with the 1000D t-mounted via an extension tube. I'll be getting the "bits and bobs" when the wallet refills!!

Really like the M51 image. Never really thought of imaging it through the ED80. You've given me inspiration
