hi

im trying to come up with a solution to turning my 8"reflector on its mount to get the eyepiece tube in the right place.

Its a pain trying to twist it without it dropping in its mounting rings.

Am trying to find a jubilee clip that size but not having much luck and was hoping that some of you may have some ideas!

Rather than trying to find a big enough jubilee clip just get another tube ring and use that.

i thought of that, tried to get one in rother vally optics today but they only sell them in pairs, i was hoping they would have a spare single one but they didnt.

they are quite expensive to buy a pair.

i have some foam strip and some rubber matting so was trying to get a jubilee clip to to hold it all with the rubber first then the foam. the rubber would stop it slipping.

but trying to get a big clip is harder than i thought!

I did find the right size of Jubilee clip but they're only sold in a pack of ten. They also sell bigger ones up to 292mm as well.

Buy two tube rings and sell one to another 8" owner who will have the same issue ...
